The Kahiki Supper Club at 3583 E. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio: a $1 million, 20,000 sq ft Polynesian palace with a war-canoe roof, flaming moai and a moat, opened February 1961, listed on the National Register in 1997, closed August 2000 and torn down that year for a Walgreens.
