Faber had accepted $15,000 in campaign contributions from the Columbus businessman Les Wexner, $5,000 in 2022 and $10,000 before 2026. Members of Congress moved in February 2026 to depose Wexner over his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. Faber pledged that month to give the full amount to charity, delivered $12,500 in March and completed the pledge with a further $2,500 to Gracehaven in April 2026.
