The rising cost of living is putting real pressure on Ohio families. Too many people are working full-time and still struggling to afford housing, childcare, healthcare, and basic needs. I believe in fighting for livable wages that reflect today’s economy—because if you work hard, you should be able to live with dignity. We must also address rising costs by expanding affordable housing, supporting childcare access, and lowering healthcare burdens. By investing in workforce development and supporting small businesses, we can create pathways to good-paying jobs and stronger communities. When workers succeed, Ohio succeeds.

I believe every student in Ohio deserves a high-quality education, regardless of their zip code. With over 20 years in education and athletics, I’ve seen what works—and what needs to change. I will fight for fair school funding, expand career and technical pathways, and support educators with the resources and respect they deserve. Our schools must prepare students for both college and careers. I’m not a career politician—I’m a problem-solver committed to putting students, families, and communities first.

Supporting economic growth, by staying out of the wallet of businesses that choose Ohio as their home, is a clear path forward. Making Ohio not ONLY attractive, but IRRESISTIBLE to small and large business owners will be one of Jennifer’s first goals as your state legislator. Lowering tax rates and simplifying our tax code for the business owner are two of her top priorities. She is the main sponsor of HB234 which would RID Ohio of the Commerical Activities Tax.

I believe strong unions are essential to protecting workers, strengthening the middle class, and building a fair economy. I will stand up for the right of workers to organize, bargain collectively, and earn fair wages with safe working conditions. Unions have built pathways to good-paying jobs and economic stability for countless Ohio families. I will oppose efforts to weaken collective bargaining and support policies that empower workers, not special interests. When workers succeed, our communities and our state succeed.
