As Secretary of State, announced counts of noncitizens found on Ohio’s voter rolls: 641 cases in 2023, and 597 more in 2024, of whom he said 138 had cast ballots. An Ohio Capital Journal review found one prosecutable case among the 521 cases his office had identified as of mid-2024, and that fewer than 3 percent of the roughly 641 fraud referrals his office had made since 2019 had produced criminal charges.
