Lordstown: 1,500 megawatts, or 42? #Ohio #Lordstown #datacenter
1,500 megawatts, or 42? In 2025 SoftBank and OpenAI named the old GM plant at Lordstown a "Stargate" AI site, and said two sites, in Ohio and Texas, could reach 1.5 gigawatts together. Our own map put all of it on Lordstown. On Sept. 21, 2026, SoftBank's team told the village council: "It's a 42-megawatt facility." We are correcting our map.
