Where they stand
Energy and utility bills
Ohio needs reliable, affordable energy — and we need it faster. Sean believes it takes far too long to bring new energy generation online. While federal permitting plays a role, the state can and should help streamline processes where possible.

Jobs and the economy
A strong workforce is the foundation of a strong local economy. Medina County already has a model program through the Medina County Career Center that allows graduates of Medina County high schools to attend adult technical education classes for free until age 24 . This program helps young adults gain real-world skills without taking on crushing debt.

Local government
Government should work for the people — not slow them down. With extensive experience in local government law, Sean has seen how inefficiency, duplication, and outdated processes cost taxpayers time and money.

Recorded votes
Sean Hutson cast 1 Yea or Nay votes on the roll calls we hold, across 1 term from 2025 to 2026, all in the Ohio General Assembly, from the Ohio Legislature. Each term opens to every roll call, with the question, the result, how Sean Hutson voted and how the majority of their party voted.
| Term | Chamber | Yea | Nay | Did not vote | With party |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 136th General Assembly, 2025–2026 | Ohio House, district 66 | 1 | 0 | not recorded | 100% of 1 |
"With party" counts only roll calls on which most Republicans and most Democrats voted opposite ways. The Ohio Legislature records who voted Yea and who voted Nay and no one else, so an absence cannot be told from an abstention and neither is counted; only floor votes are listed.
