Where they stand
Environment and water
The F.A.C.T. Act does not impact Ohio's ability to access these natural resources, nor does it restrict the processes used in oil and gas well operations. It simply requires companies to be truthful about the chemicals and substances they use in the process. When safe drinking water and the security of our state is at risk, Ohioans deserve the most transparent processes possible

Health care
Affordability is an issue that concerns all Ohioans, regardless of political party, and we as legislators have a responsibility to act in the best interest of our constituents’ health, happiness, and security. When Ohio is healthy, we strengthen our economy, reduce costs, improve academic performances, and become a role model for other states

Property taxes
This override vote was a total waste of time and taxpayer dollars. This body voted to override a veto that provides zero targeted property tax relief and fails to address Ohio’s property tax crisis. The majority in this body claims to care about the burden taxpayers face while doing nothing to solve the problem

Recorded votes
Derrick Hall cast 263 Yea or Nay votes on the roll calls we hold, across 1 term from 2025 to 2026, all in the Ohio General Assembly, from the Ohio Legislature. Each term opens to every roll call, with the question, the result, how Derrick Hall voted and how the majority of their party voted.
| Term | Chamber | Yea | Nay | Did not vote | With party |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 136th General Assembly, 2025–2026 | Ohio House, district 34 | 239 | 24 | not recorded | 52% of 42 |
"With party" counts only roll calls on which most Republicans and most Democrats voted opposite ways. The Ohio Legislature records who voted Yea and who voted Nay and no one else, so an absence cannot be told from an abstention and neither is counted; only floor votes are listed.
