Where they stand
Drugs and addiction
As a former Deputy Sheriff, I know the devastating effects that drug addiction and crime can have on communities. I will use my experience in law enforcement to fight back against Ohio’s heroin epidemic by supporting laws that treat the sick and punish the dealers to get these drugs off the streets.

Education
Our children’s health and education is paramount to the success of our state. I will fight to ensure that our schools remain well funded so that we can guarantee the health, education and safety of our children.

Jobs and the economy
We need to reverse Ohio’s economic decline and we need to do it now. I will listen to and work with local business leaders and with my colleagues across the aisle to ensure that we have the foundation to promote job growth.

Why they are running
In recent years, our middle class has carried the burden of poor policy choices. I’m running to restore common sense, strengthen our schools and communities, and ensure economic opportunity reaches every Ohioan.
Workers and wages
Having worked as a Deputy Sheriff, I know what it means to serve my community. I am committed to protecting workers against attacks like so called 'right to work,' which compromise the safety and security of their jobs.
